The 13th Eve
'Jusanyazuki’ is the Japanese name for the gibbous moon phase, translating to ‘the 13th eve’. During this phase the moon appears like an imperfect oval.
Momoko Hatano’s latest collection explores the dynamic shapes of the moon and her obsession with reinterpreting traditional jewellery into contemporary everyday pieces.
The 13th Eve is hand made by Momoko in her Sydney studio, exclusively with recycled and Australian sourced silver, brass and gold.
